Valentine’s Cupcakes (AKA. Belly Button Cupcakes)
|1 1/2 cups||Flour|
|1 cup||White Sugar|
|1 1/2 tsp||Baking Powder|
|1/2 cup||Butter (Softened)|
|1 tsp||Vanilla Extract|
- Preheat oven to 375˚F.
- In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Mix in the wet ingredients using an electric mixer on low speed. (Butter, milk, eggs and vanilla). Beat until smooth.
- Spoon into 12 paper-lined or greased muffin cups.
- Bake for approximately 18 minutes.
- Let cool and frost.
Note: For frosting, see Perfect Buttercream Frosting recipe. I halved the recipe for these cupcakes.
