Kid-Friendly Three Cheese Pasta
Serving Size: Prep Time: 10 min Cook Time: 10-15 mins
|1 cup||Veggies (Use whatever you have. Nicole used red and green peppers, mushrooms and leeks)|
|2 cups||Meat (This can be any kind. Today Nicole used beef)|
|1 package||Noodles (Nicole used whole wheat)|
|1/2 tsp||Black Pepper|
|2 tbsp||Three Cheese Ranch Dressing (Kraft is the best, according to Nicole)|
|1/2 cup||Grated Cheese|
|1 1/2 tsp||Other Spices (Any kind you prefer, but if you have fresh herbs those are always the best)|
- Clean and chop up all of the veggies and the meat. Once complete, start frying the meat (Nicole used a cast iron skillet, which I think worked great. I really want one now!) It’s also a good idea to start boiling the water for the noodles.
- If necessary, drain the meat of any excess grease (chicken doesn’t require this, but beef probably will). You can either fry the veggies separate or with the meat. Nicole set the meat aside as she fried her veggies. She then cooked the veggies for about 5 minutes and added the beef back in. She set it all aside and continued to cook the noodles.
- The noodles shouldn’t take long. By this time the water should be boiled and the noodles can be thrown in. Cook them for approximately 8 minutes (or however long the package says). While they are boiling, grate up some cheese. Any kind works great, but Nicole used regular marble cheese.
- Once the noodles are cooked, strain them and add a bit of olive oil to keep them from sticking. Dish the noodles, veggies, meat onto a plate (preferably in that order. It will look nicer than all mixed together). Drizzle some dressing on top and sprinkle a bit of cheese for yumminess! Add a garnish to finish (only if you would like) and voila! You’ve completed a Kid Friendly Three Cheese Pasta.
Serve and Enjoy!
