Homemade Croutons

Serving Size: Varies Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes


Loaf Bread (French or Fococcia)
2 1/2 tbs Olive Oil
1 1/2 tsp Basil
2 tsp Garlic (Powder)
1 tsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Rosemary
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper


Preheat oven to 325˚F

  1. Cut the loaf of bread into cubes
  2. In a large bowl, mix bread, olive oil, basil, garlic powder salt and pepper (all are according to taste and preference).
  3. Place cooling rack on top of baking sheet
  4. Spread croutons on baking sheet
  5. Bake for 20 minutes
  6. Test to make sure they are crunchy

Enjoy as a snack or on your next salad!


Use whatever spices you have available. Get a little creative!
