Clone of a Cinnabon

Serving Size: 15-18 buns Prep Time: 30 minutes + 1 1/2 hours Cook Time: 20 minutes

1 cup + 2 tbs Milk
2 Egg(s)
1/3 cup Butter (Melted)
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup White Sugar
4 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
2 1/2 tsp Yeast
1/3 cup Butter (Melted)
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 1/2 tbs Cinnamon
1 1/2 cups Blueberries (Optional)
4 oz (half pkg.) Cream Cheese (Room temp.)
1/4 cup Butter (Softened)
1 1/2 cups Icing Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • Place all ingredients in bread machine and run on dough cycle.
  • When finished, let dough rest for up to 20 minutes.
  • Roll dough into a 16”x21” rectangle (approximately).

  • Spread dough with butter.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and spread evenly over dough.
  • Add blueberries or nuts according to preference.
  • Roll up dough (from short end) and cut into 15 or so rolls using a serrated knife.
  • Place rolls in a greased 9”x13” pan. Cover with greased plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until almost doubled (about 45-60 minutes).
  • When risen, bake at 375ºF for 20 minutes or until golden.

  • Cream frosting ingredients together until smooth. (Works best if cream cheese is fully blended first. This eliminates clumping.)
  • Spread over warm cinnamon buns.
  • Cut and serve warm.
